Three Canada Geese flew up from the Thames river into the early morning sun on Sunday October 19, 2008, going up and over the dam heading east. It was a beautiful fall morning for our club's usual Sunday photo shoot in Springbank Park in London, Ontario.

At Springwater pond on March 11, 2007. Preparations are under way to boil the sap from the maple trees using the time tested method of cast iron kettles, fuelled by hardwood. Pancake breakfast is to be served across the road at 10:00 A.M. One of our leading Guild photographers, Jim is often seen going to great lengths to get in position to gaet that extra special shot. Here he moved out onto the thick ice of Springwater pond to get a desirable vantage point for another shot along the shoreline on a cold March morning.

The shiny spots on the pond are areas of new ice formed by the melting yesterday and frozen overnight. The "waves" are apparently the results of the wind pushing snow around on the pond at times.
